Doggos are cute and adorable creatures, but they’re also goofy and boisterous. Whether your doggo’s being silly or mischievous, he or she might swallow something he or she shouldn’t have—whether accidentally or on purpose. If you suspect your doggo swallowed something, you’ll want to be able to determine if it was indeed swallowed. Here are some simple methods to check if your doggo swallowed something he or she should not have.

Is Your Dog Vomiting?

If your doggo is retching and nothing is coming up, it's possible they swallowed something they shouldn't have. If your dog is vomiting, there's a chance they could bring up the object if it's still in their stomach. If the item is small enough, it may pass through your dog's system without issue. If you're unsure whether or not your dog has swallowed something, contact your veterinarian for guidance. Your vet will be able to conduct an x-ray to determine what's going on inside your doggo!

Is Your Dog Not Eating?
